Gary at Rabbit Blanket Campground
Tug with Ruth and Ward
The guys biked 128 km from White River to Rabbit Blanket campground in Lake Superior Provincial Park on Jun 27th and pitched their tents before rain set in. For the first time they had to pack up in the rain and bike into heavy fog and rain. It was a trying day of 3 flat tires - 1 for Tug and 2 for Gary if anyone is keeping count. They had only done 50k by lunch time and still had not found a restarant for breakfast (and coffee!) - so they were more than pleased to see a sign on the mailbox and message in the sand giving directions to the home of Ruth Fletcher and Ward Conway at Montreal River, their destination for the night. When last heard they were enjoying the gorgeous scenery, hot meals, and the warm and welcoming hospitality of their hosts.
