Welcoming farmers, Julie & Dave
The guys travelled 128 km out of Winnipeg on Thursday before they ran into very dark, ominous clouds with flashes of lightening ahead on the road. Not wanting to be rolling lightning rods, they made the decision to get off the road at the first opportunity which turned out to be the farm of Julie and Dave who let them pitch their tents beside the barn. So they had their first night of rough camping complete with swarms of very hungry mosquitoes that kept them tucked up tightly in their tents all night. But they avoided the storm!
