Jun 11 - Tomkins to Chaplin, Sask - 170.3km

Arriving in Chaplin, Sask and campsite choice

Wow - that's some flat land! The guys are rolling along on the prairies now and enjoying the long anticipated western winds that made the ride from Tomkins to Chaplin an easy 170km. (Seriously, that's what they said!). They are camping at a salt lake outside Chaplin, aptly named "Salt of the Earth". It will probably have a very different ambience than the 'night of 10 trains' campsite in Tomkins but you will have to stay tuned to their respective entries to read more about that memorable night. Their next destination is Regina where they are thinking of veering south to travel along Hwy 13.
