June 6 Day 11 A Rest Day in Fernie

We took a day to visit with family and friends who drove down to meet us from Calgary. Tug's cousin, Jacquie and her husband Peter, plus my daughter Susie and her friend Chris met us and we spent a wonderful afternon and evening catching up. The rest day allowed us to avoid the cold winter weather in Southern Alberta, recover a bit from the tough grind through the mountains, catch up on our email and add to the blog, but most importantly it was fun to see family.
