Gary checking out the activity options at Quetico Provincial Park.
In lieu of showers that were being repaired at the campsite, the guys were given a secluded campsite beside a warm(ish) lake where a cooling swim and soak were welcome at the end of a 'short' ride day. Gary described the days ride as rolling hills (I think that language has been borrowed from the Centennial Riders parlance) with 8 to 10 short, sharp hills (think Orchard Ave only longer). Places to eat have become a scarce commodity in the last couple of days. For example they had to go about 60km to Atikokan to find a place for breakfast so they are stocking up on carry-along food now just in case. Tomorrow they will backtrack 6 km to get breakfast before pushing on for a long day (170km) in the hopes of making Thunderbay by nightfall.
