Jul 9 - Parc National d'Oka to Lanoraie 135 km

With Bruno Bourque, 'cycling guide'

Camping beside the St. Lawrence Seaway in Lanoraie

The guys are on the north shore of the St Lawrence east of Montreal. They had a great ride on the Route Verte with a few 'oops' points and circles as they tried to navigate maps that were not always very clear when they reached Montreal. Fortunately they were befriended by another cyclists while in the maze of Montreal streets and bike paths who then rode with them across Montreal and took them to a wonderful bistro for some delicious Montreal cuisine. The weather has turned as nice for them as for those of us emerging from the rain, fog and drizzle of the east coast so spirits were high as they waited for their pizza to be delivered to their campsite (yeah really!!) beside the St. Lawrence where they were watching the ships ply the famous waterway.

  1. I'm amazed at your progress -- here life goes on, while you're chewing up the miles. It won't be long until you're back!
We may be quiet on the blog, but we're all pulling for you.
