Tug with the Keppie's - you meet the nicest people on the road!
A surprise 'driveby' meeting with the Keppie's from Wolfville was a highlight of today's ride from Sheffield to Riverview outside Moncton. The guys had changed their plans to ride on a back road due to reports of bad road conditions so they were zipping along on the TransCanada when a car suddenly pulled off the road in front of them. Apparently the Keppie's have been following their progress on the blog and were on the look out for them as they returned from a trip to Ontario. The fact that they found them just shows that no matter how big this country is, ultimately its just a small world. Tonight they are enjoying the hospitality of Tugs sister and brother-in-law, Rick and Jan. The plan is still to do the trip from Moncton to Wolfville in 2 1/2 days with stops in the Wentworth and Shubie areas but like the rest of the trip it will unfold as it will. A Homecoming Celebration and Welcome is tentatively planned for Sunday afternoon at Willow Park. I will let you know details as soon as we have a good estimate of arrival and route.
