Gary with Old Quebec City bridge in background
They passed Quebec City today and are now on the south side of the St. Lawrence. As with Montreal they needed the help of a good samaritan to steer them on the right roads to get where they wanted to go. This time it was Marcelle Dumont who took them under tow, so to speak, and got them across the river just as they realized they had got themselves headed for a road where bikes were not allowed. But they made it across safely and legally and ended up on a 'stunning' bike path that was beautifully paved and being shared by all sorts of bikers and roller bladers. They are once again camped along the St. Lawrence but rained has moved in for the evening. Tomorrow they will make Riviere du Loup and turn south towards New Brunswick.
