Jul 12 - L'Islet to Saint Louis-du-Ha!-Ha! 160 km

The guys left L'Islet and made great time into Riviere-du-Loup with a great tail wind. But once they turned south the going changed. After a stop at a tourist bureau they started out on the Piste cyclable Petit Temis only to find that it was a hard packed gravel surface that deteriorated to a loose packed gravel path but by this time they were out in the middle of the woods away from the main highway. So they had a few slogging km before the sound of car whizzing along a paved highway caught their attention and at the first opportunity they hightailed it back to paved roads and got back into their normal pace on the road. They stopped for the night just before Saint Louis-du-Ha!-Ha! knowing that they are now under 1000km from home and only 65 km from the New Brunswick border.
