Route Verte trail in Quebec

Camping at Parc National d'Oka northwest of Montreal
Another headwind slowed the guys down a bit today but they are within riding distance of Montreal as planned. The first part of the day out of Orleans was along a very busy rush hour highway where the so-called bike path came and went and the road surface was 'crappy'. So getting to the Route Verte trail system with its great surface and no traffic was very welcome. Even when the trail took them out to the hwy the traffic was nothing like the what they encountered coming out of Orleans. They will be on the Route Verte through much of Quebec so any cyclists out there can check it out. It looks great. They are camped tonight in lovely campground very close to the comfort stations with its hot showers in Parc National d'Oka. The only drawback is they are under the flight path of planes out of Dorval - this will be Tug's 'Night of 10 Planes' to make up for Gary's 'Night of 10 Trains'.
