May 26 Departure

West Jet 669 to Vancouver at 09:15; WJ staff just great. We arrived concerned that our giant boxes could be a problem. Geeting them out of the car, onto a cart and through the revolving doors was an adventure, but when the WJ people saw the boxes, they didn't even blink. They tagged the boxes and sent us to the oversize/fragile conveyor and that was it. Went to breakfast with Jan and Claudia; met Ray Ivany who was travelling to Ottawa then Vanvouver. Flight uneventful. Met by Brydone Dewar; boxes fit into his Jeep a lot easier, but Tug and I had to share the passenger seat. Very cozy. Reassembled bikes at Brydone's apartment in Kitsilano. Road a few Km to MEC for some last minute shopping. Then Brydone took us on bike tour of the Olynpic Village site at False Creek. Lots of changes. The city has really developed a wonderful biking system. Tomorrow , Frick and Frack will be on their way back.
